Since many banks and investment firms are mostly on the verge of
collapse, how deep in this muck, and therefore as leveraged and
illiquid, are plan administrators, such as Vanguard, Fidelity,
Oppenheimer, etc.?

Vanguard does not use leverage like Pimco.
