The nine-day People's Power for the Climate protest vigil at Newcastle has
been cancelled after just one day due to rain and cold.

Organisers had previously advised participants to bring sun-cream and hats.

This outcome was predictable!

Here are the global average temperatures since 1958. "o" = trend line.

Look at all those "o"'s lined up there. The trend is up, Up, UP.

And most recently the rate of increase is about 2'C per century.
