As I just explained,
the time horizon is too long for me, at my age and state of health, to
be able to wait 20+ years for a turnaround. At some point, I have to be
able to liquidate my investments to live on.

The U.S. government can wait as long as necessary. Because it never
needs the money.

Warren Buffett also thinks very long term. So he was one of the VERY
few private investors to still be interested in putting his money into
U.S. financial assets right now.

If I had a young grandchild, maybe a toddler, who hopefully may live 70+
years into the future, I would recommend such a long term investment for
him too. But I won't be here in 70+ years.

What a defeatist attitude. I'm guessing that as soon as I go on the bed
pan, they'll find a way to arrest aging.

So you wouldn't buy 30 year Treasuries if they were selling them?

If it takes 20 to 70 years to recoup value, these 'investments' are a scam.

It took you four days to come up with that?

Good job, Blasshole.

You have this obsession with sucking and balls. You didn't have to
tell us what you did during those last four days.

You do have issues that would give a psychiatrist job security.
