"SIX FRIGGIN' MONTHS AGO" this was happening to large banks with dubious
capital......This cessation of inter-bank lending to small well-capitalized
local banks is a recent event.......

Ummm, but in order to make REAL money "investing", I MUST be
able to foresee the moves of the other people in the market...if I can't
do that, might as well just stuff my money in a mattress...

No bother though, if you're a human (or a dog, or whatever, any
animal with defined behavior patterns), your "moves" can be predicted
reasonably well...note how well I can predict (and play!) the "Mikeys"
here, for just ONE example...
