In Texas, the "traditional" electric companies (the ones in existence before
deregulation) charge about 17 to 23 c per kwh. The "new" companies charge as
low as 13c.
From that, I'd say that dereg works just fine.

If it's your land you needn't pay gasoline tax to drive on it.

No, the didn't consume excessive tax money. They used the money on
things other than what it was intended, letting the roads decay.
The fact is that highway taxes *are* needed, and government has the
be brought under control, not unleashed.

WHEN?
Liberals call people liar with no concept of what a lie is, I know this
because they all believe Bill Clinton when he says he did not have sex
with that woman. Then Liberals lie without any concern for the truth,
time and time again.

But how do you separate the fuel into taxed and non taxed, depending
where you are? Farm fuel has a dye in it. Once in the tank you can add
taxed gas to the farm gas and still get fined by the DOT.

Maybe that was because after Nixon, Reagan, and Bush #1 everybody's
bullshit detector was out of whack!
Watergate?
Iran-Contra?
"Read My Lips, No New Taxes" ?
Remember those, dude?
Massive lies by the most crooked politicians to EVER set foot in the
Oval Office, and you're fixated on a goddamn blow-job ?!?!?
When will you learn: you've been played!
The Republican Party and the Conservative Movement is a SCAM !
It's a scam to fool suckers like you into thinking you belong to this
group of elites, when in fact you're just a sucker, a dupe, mere
pwnage in a grand sweeping multi-generational game of pure power
politics.
You're being screwed and you can't even feel it, you're so numb!
Remember the Contract With America, the Big Promise the Republican
Revolution rode into Washington on?
http://www.house.gov/house/Contract/CONTRACT.html
How'd that work out for you, me, and every other 'little guy' ??
LIES!
Nothing but false promises and lies to get elected, install a
majority, and do the bidding of the corporate interests who funded the
revolution.
When you listen to Rush and O'Reilly and Hannity and Coulter, watch
Fox, or read Free Republic, you are being told more lies to reinforce
the old lies and excuse the deliberate failings of those false
promise.

Not if you don't drive on the public right of way with it. ISTR
there is an income tax credit for off-road fuel use.

Tell us how they earned the 18.5cents, what did they do? Why didn't it

You need to be a huge farm and use a lot of fuel to get anything.
Farm equipment is allowed to use the roads without tags or insurance.
