The PPT (Plunge Protection Team) is out in force today, just like they
said they would be in an announcement this morning.

This is one clear case where we can all agree that aeron is right
about this friggin' FRAUD of a market. LOL.

This reminds me of the titanic struggle between George Soros and the
Bank of England in September 1992. A bunch of shorts (Soros among
others) battled with the Bank of England over the pound. We know who
won that battle.

I see the same thing happening now...somebody (The Man) does not want
this market to go down, and the PPT is working feverishly behind the
scenes. But, a swarm of speculators and people who want to sell at
any price are on the other side of the see-saw.

Who plays for the win?

The S&P 500 is down 520 points (33%) from the 52 week high, so the PPT sure
is doing a fantastic job and must have lost a few trillion $$$ supporting
the market so well.

The market was going to be closed today. I read it was -800+ -- it
gets to -1,030, and that's circuit-breaker time.

Then the panic REALLY begins. This was clear manipulation -- it's
only a question now of how much this intervention cost us. We
probably came about as close as we've ever come today to just losing
it all completely.

It doesn't really matter anymore -- as I've said before, nothing in
this market has any real value whatsoever. Does anyone really believe
we are not going to lose most social order within, say, a month or two
or three?

It's gone.

It's all gone.

I mean, that's why I posted the two things I said earlier this
morning. The Nikkei has lost a sixth of its value in four weeks, the
Hang Seng, a fifth.

Once this finally hits home like the Cat. 5 hurricane it is, there
will be no point in going to work (and, for many, no ability to do so,
even if they did have a job!), and, immediately thereafter, blammo...
